Hjellsand

This photo shows Hjellsand around 1955. This time Bernhard Michelsen has been on "Langhaugen" (The long knoll), pointing his camera northwest. In the foreground shines a little lake, "Rundvatnet" (as you may have guessed: The round lake).

Two white buildings are facing south in the distance. You may recognize the tallest from other photos in my collection. Right, that's my childhood home. To the left we get a look at the North Atlantic ocean. A fog bank borders the horizon.
